About
The RHDAustralia 2020 Australian guidelines for prevention, diagnosis and management of acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease (3rd edition) are maintained at Menzies. The Guidelines and associated resources including a smartphone app and eLearning programs are freely available through this site.
A large group of clinical and public health colleagues provides input into best practice clinical and culturally safe care. Our work continues through the dissemination of the Guidelines and associated resources, by providing technical support to RHD control programs, and through collaboration with peak and industry bodies in line with the Guidelines Implementation Plan. The team at Menzies includes:
- Sara Noonan, RHD Technical Advisor
- Professor Anna Ralph, Clinical Advisor
- Professor Bart Currie, Clinical Advisor
- Gabrielle Mullen, Project Support
